About the Role:

As a Corporate Lawyer focusing on the non-profit sector, you will provide tailored legal advice to clients, helping them navigate the complex regulatory framework governing non-profit entities. Your work will encompass corporate governance, restructuring, compliance, and contracts, all while supporting organizations that aim to make a difference in society.

• Advising non-profit organizations, foundations, and associations on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal structures.
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documents, including statutes, policies, and internal regulations.
• Assisting clients with the establishment of non-profit entities and guiding them through their legal obligations.
• Providing strategic advice on mergers, restructurings, and partnerships within the non-profit sector.
• Advising on compliance with Belgian non-profit regulations and assisting with administrative filings.
• Supporting clients in legal disputes, mediations, or negotiations when required.
• Staying informed of legal developments impacting the non-profit sector and proactively advising clients on potential implications.

• Education: Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with exposure to non-profit entities or social enterprises.
• Skills:
• Strong expertise in corporate law and a keen interest in the legal framework governing non-profits.
• Excellent drafting and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
• Languages: Fluency Dutch and proficiency in English.
