Experienced - Legal Counsel

For our client, a leading player in the entertainment industry, internationally recognized for our expertise and innovation ;

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team. The ideal candidate is a legal generalist capable of managing complex legal issues and providing practical, business-oriented advice. You will work closely with a small, dynamic team. • Monitor and advise on evolving legislation impacting the entertainment industry, ensuring the company stays compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and public authorities to maintain strong relationships and facilitate smooth operations.
• Manage administrative processes, including applications for licenses, urban planning permits, and other necessary approvals.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice on diverse topics such as entertainment law, contract law, IT law, data protection, anti-money laundering legislation, corporate governance, real estate law, and labor law.
• Oversee and manage disputes, coordinating litigation and collaborating with external legal counsel when needed.
• Ensure corporate governance compliance for all legal entities within the group, maintaining proper records and procedures.

• Legal background with more than 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in multiple languages, including French, Dutch, and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Proactive and curious, with a strong commitment to staying informed on legal trends and developments.
• Highly autonomous, capable of taking initiative while also excelling in team-based environments.
• Proven track record of advising on complex legal matters and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
