Financial Controller - Leading industrial group

Our client is a leading international industrial group, active in over 40 countries and recognized for its high-quality, innovative and sustainable solutions in the building materials sector. As part of their continuous growth, they are currently seeking a dynamic and business-oriented Sales Controller to join their finance team and support both local operations and the international headquarters.

About the Role

As a Sales Controller, you will play a key role in analyzing sales performance and profitability across regions and product lines. You will report directly to the Sales Controlling Manager at group HQ and work closely with the local sales and finance teams. Your mission: provide accurate financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Prepare detailed reports on sales and profitability (by customer, product, region, etc.)
• Identify deviations vs targets and provide analysis and alerts
• Monitor sales results and calculate bonuses
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with local and HQ teams
• Manage transfer pricing and ensure alignment with intercompany policies
• Set up pricing and discount conditions in SAP
• Prepare financial reports and customer-specific reports under rebate agreements
• Liaise with stakeholders: sales, supply chain, finance, customer service
• Produce reports for national statistics entities
• Share best practices within the international sales controlling community

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial or controlling function
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a strong asset
• Strong analytical mindset with commercial awareness
• Effective communicator – able to synthesize complex data for business decisions
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Languages: Fluent English and French and/or Dutch is required
