Risk & Compliance Specialist - Insurance Sector

Are you passionate about regulatory compliance and risk management within the insurance industry? Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is looking for driven professionals for the role of Compliance Consultant. In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of organizations, providing expert guidance on compliance matters. You will assist in mitigating risks related to AML, CFT, DORA, IDD, GDPR, consumer protection, and help them deliver practical solutions that balance regulatory compliance with efficient business processes.

• Collaborate with clients to identify and implement effective solutions for regulatory compliance challenges.
• Assist clients in designing, reviewing, and enhancing compliance programs related to Digital Operational Resilience (DORA), anti-money laundering (AML), IDD, GDPR, consumer protection, and more.
• Conduct compliance assessments at both enterprise and business unit levels.
• Develop and refine policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Deliver training sessions and promote awareness of compliance best practices.
• Assist in evaluating, setting up, and implementing a robust compliance framework and performing specific compliance tasks (risk assessments, monitoring, advisory, reporting, etc.).
• Engage with diverse stakeholders across different functional areas, both internally and externally.
• Stay up to date with regulatory and market developments in compliance.
• Contribute to the growth and enhancement of compliance service offerings.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compliance or risk consulting, business analysis, and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge in interpreting and applying various legal frameworks.
• Familiarity with several regulations and a willingness to learn more.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English and either Dutch or French.
